With five Gigabit Ethernet ports, multi-WAN connectivity, VPN support, advanced firewall controls, and Omada centralized management, the ER605 provides a flexible networking solution for small businesses, branch offices, retail locations, and other professional environments.
The ER605 integrates with the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform, allowing network administrators to centrally configure, monitor, and manage compatible Omada devices. It can also be managed independently through its web interface, while compatible Omada management options provide centralized cloud access and mobile management.

Flexible Multi-WAN Connectivity
The ER605 provides one dedicated Gigabit WAN port, two Gigabit LAN ports, and two interchangeable Gigabit WAN/LAN ports. The configurable WAN/LAN ports allow the gateway to support up to three WAN connections, making it suitable for multi-provider Internet deployments. Multi-WAN load balancing distributes traffic according to the bandwidth available from each WAN connection to improve utilization.
USB WAN Backup
A built-in USB 2.0 port supports a compatible 4G/3G modem for WAN backup. This provides an additional Internet connectivity option for businesses that need greater network resilience when a primary wired connection becomes unavailable.
Secure VPN Networking
The ER605 supports multiple VPN technologies for secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity. It supports IPsec, OpenVPN, L2TP, and PPTP, with up to 20 IPsec VPN tunnels and up to 16 tunnels for OpenVPN, L2TP, and PPTP. IPsec features include IKEv1/v2, NAT traversal, Dead Peer Detection, Perfect Forward Secrecy, and multiple encryption options.
Advanced Network Security
Built-in security features help protect business networks against unwanted traffic and common network threats. The ER605 supports firewall policies, source and destination IP-based access control, URL filtering, web filtering, IP-MAC binding, ARP inspection, and protection against TCP, UDP, and ICMP flood attacks.
Centralized Omada Management
When deployed with compatible Omada management solutions, the ER605 can be centrally configured and monitored alongside other compatible network devices. Omada management provides unified configuration, network monitoring, device discovery, statistics, system logs, firmware upgrades, diagnostics, and remote management capabilities.
